ᵒᵘᵗ ᵒᶠ ᶜᵃᵐᵖ. Okay, so … Seeing as the activity is being weird as all heckt , I’ve gone through and put all my threads in the Thread Tracker ; This includes all my old threads from before my long af hiatus , although all of those have been archived . I figured most people probably would want to start fresh if they had an interest in interacting with me at all , however if you want to pick one of those threads back up lemme know and I’ll unarchive it ! Feel free to also check to see if it’s My Turn or Your Turn with the various threads , all of which should be sorted by URL .
Unfortunately , I can’t do anything about the tags not working , but you can always check the greeter tag if you’ve recently followed me to see if I made you one . If you’re looking for a starter that I was supposed to write for you , hit up the closed tag , instead . Hopefully, this is enough to try and get some organization back into everyone’s lives ! Even still , feel free to hit me up if you feel like I’ve missed you ! I’d rather be reminded than lose someone in the chaos ! Thanks to everyone for your patience with all of this and hopefully the staff manages to get their crap together soon !
Max looked away immediately from David’s gaze, he didn’t want to talk to David, not again. The other troops usually just kicked him around, he hated it here, it was always day in of being pranked and picked on, the male having feathers slightly stick to him after another prank. He just wanted to stay inside the closet and cry for a while.
He wanted to go home so he could sleep without feeling frightened as he simply just remained silent, that seemed to be Max’s go to strategy to avoid communicating his problem, it’s how he tend to avoid causing trouble for people, just to go quiet as a mouse.
Max softly staring at the ground as he refused to look at David, bruises again on his arm and eye.
David let out a huff of annoyance when the kid diverted his gaze ,moving one of his hands to his temple so he could rub away the HEADACHE that was starting to form from having to deal with all this .Of all the ways to top off his already stressful day ,Max’s …Whatever this is was certainly near the bottom of the list .
“ Come on. ” Standing to his feet ,David kept his grip on Max’s arm and dragged him along to find the kid some ice .If his hold was a LITTLE tighter than necessary ,he didn’t notice .Fortunately ,the kitchen was nearby and he deposited the 𝕤𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕥 in the middle of the room and pointed a finger at him . “ Don’t move. ”
He went for the freezer and found an icepack near the front before returning to Max .Taking his hand ,he curled the other’s fingers around the pack and then took a couple steps back and crossed his arms over his chest .
He waited a moment to make sure that the other actually USED it-He’d been here often enough that hopefully David wouldn’t have to explain to him what to do with it ,by now .Once the pack was in place the 𝕥𝕣𝕠𝕠𝕡 𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕣finally spoke ,a hint of DISAPPOINTMENT in his voice . “ I’d have thought you’d TOUGHEN UP by now ,Maxwell. This wallowing and crying is CHILDISH.You’re not a BABY,anymore ;You’re supposed to be a MAN.Don’t you ever get TIRED of this routine ? ”
Helga winced once the ball hit him. Luckily not in the face this time. She ran over to him retrieving her ball. “You gotta get better at this David. Who else am I gonna play sports with? We gotta start practicing. Not Dodge ball though. No offense but you’d probably die or get knocked out after one game.”
He let out a soft oof when the ball hit him ,causing him a sudden STRIKE of pain that he figured was probably going bruise later .Still ,he managed to force a smile on his face as Helga came running up to him ,if not an EMBARRASSED one .
❝ Heh. ❞ He rubbed the back of his neck ,picking up her ball and holding it out to her as she approached . ❝ I guess I’m a LITTLE rusty .If we’re gonna get me back into shape ,though ,I’m gonna need a pretty TOUGH coach .Are you sure you’re up for the task ? ❞
