He never really got a lot of CHANCES to stand in center stage .
Back home, Davey’d never really did anything theatrical - Or, really, ANY activities at all . He tended not to get along very well with most of his peers, there - and at camp, he’d always made a point of not participating when it came to just about everything . Even in the RARE event he was wrestled into a production, he’d usually been saddled with some background role like a tree .

It wasn’t that he was complaining - He preferred it when Darla and Gregg weren’t trying to MAKE him cooperate - but there was something kinda cool about standing in the middle of the empty stage, now . He’d gotten fed up with the other campers he didn’t know and their squabbling over some weird magical incident, so he’d just wandered off to theater camp to get some PEACE of mind . After a quick glance around to make sure no one could see him, Davey even let himself take a dramatic bow, pretending for once that he was the star .
❝ Thank you. Thank – AH ! ❞ he screeched when he spotted the Shakespeare-looking kid standing off to the side, only to instantly straighten himself out and act like he HADN’T just been doing what he had. ❝ What theHELL ? Don’t you know it’smad rude to sneak up on someone like that? ❞
