🄻 🅄 🄲 🄸:

_{She had taken a look towards David, listening to his words before carefully covering her face abit, seeing droplets of water fly around towards it. An attempt that didn’t really work.} 

                              _{Well, they were outside after all!} 

_{Luci couldn’t help but laugh, smiling towards David still, that childish look on her face not altering whatsoever. It was new for her, to be smiling for this long. Especially when she knew she could get a cold, but again, that was Future Luci’s problem!}

                                          _{“A dirty secret!”
She repeated, grinning as she bounced in place, slight mud droplets etching her shoes, and even the sides of her legs, but she didn’t seem to mind. She could always wash, plus she had spare clothes! Another thing covered for Future Luci to worry about!} 

_{The rain fell hard, the sounds of nature around overtaken by the harsh weather, the slight sound of rumbling soon coming after it. Maybe it would be time to head indoors soon. Hopefully, things would die down soon.
             “You know I can’t carry you. I might break my small legs!”} 

_{She commented, giggling playfully before the first flash of lightning filled the sky, and Luci was quick to move. Her arms wrapped around the others leg’s, somewhat shaken at the sight. She did, eventually speak.}

                            _{“We should head back indoors now-”}

_{The sudden} ｃｒａｃｋ _{of lightning and then the thunder that followed startled him as well} , _{but more so in surprise than anything else} . _{He glanced back down when arms suddenly wrapped around his legs and he gave a soft} , _{but hopefully} reassuring _{smile and placed a hand on the top of her head} . ❝ That sounds like a pretty good idea to me. ❞

_{Unfortunately, he would need his legs before he could guide them back towards some kind of shelter and had to maneuver out of her hold whilst offering a hand towards her instead} . _{He wiggled his fingers, enticingly} . ❝ Come on. I think that we’ve earned ourselves a couple towels. I can sneak into the kitchen and make us some hot chocolate while we’re at it. That’ll be sure to warm you up in no time. ❞

_{It wasn’t a} ｌｏｎｇ _{walk to the mess hall and that was probably for the} best ; _{Getting caught outside in the rain was one thing} , _{but standing around in a thunderstorm was} ｌｅｓｓ _{than ideal} . 

_{As they headed towards it} , _{he spared a glance down at Luci to make sure she was still with him}- _{Both physically} and _mentally . _{It wouldn’t be the first time one of the} 𝕔𝕒𝕞𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤 _{disappeared while standing right next to him} . _{As he looked her over, he decided it would probably be a good idea to continue to offer some kind of} ｄｉｓｔｒａｃｔｉｏｎ _{until they could get back indoor} . 

❝ Y’know, ❞ _{he said} , _{speaking a little} louder _{than normal to be heard over the downpour} . ❝ I’ve heard people say before that thunder is just the aliens getting together for some bowling. What do you think? ❞
